Full-Time - 35hrs/wk | $14.50 per hour
The Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC) seeks a dedicated and compassionate Site Manager to oversee daily site operations at Cathedral Square, one of our affordable housing communities in Grants Pass, OR.
This full-time (35 hours per week), live-on-site opportunity comes with a two-bedroom apartment and paid utilities. You'll serve as a key presence in the community, ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained while supporting residents in building stable, successful tenancies.
🔑What You’ll Do:
Live on-site and serve as the primary contact for tenant needs, concerns, and emergencies.
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with community rules and HAJC policies.
Respond to maintenance requests, perform light repairs, and coordinate with maintenance staff.
Collect and deposit rent, issue notices, and maintain accurate tenant records.
Support new residents with move-in processes and help enforce lease provisions.
Mediate disputes, de-escalate conflicts, and ensure community harmony.
Maintain laundry rooms and shared spaces, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.
Be a visible and approachable leader in your residential community.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in property management or related housing services.
Knowledge of Oregon’s landlord/tenant laws and basic maintenance/landscaping practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts respectfully.
Comfortable working independently with initiative, accountability, and compassion.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform property-related tasks.
Tech literacy and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
